Our Testing Experience

First Impressions

When I first got the CJRB Pyrite-Light Pocket Knife, I was curious about how such a small knife could be so tough. I took it out of the box and immediately noticed how solid and well-made it felt in my hand. The green handle had a nice grip, and the blade looked sharp and sturdy. I tested opening and closing it a few times, and the button lock mechanism worked smoothly without any fuss. It felt like a reliable tool right from the start.

Daily Use

Over the next few days, I carried the knife with me everywhere – clipped to my pocket or belt. It was light enough that I barely noticed it, but when I needed it, it was easy to grab quickly. I used it for small tasks like opening packages, cutting rope, and even prepping some food while camping. The blade stayed sharp and made clean cuts every time. I liked how comfortable the handle was, even when I used it for a few minutes straight.

Key Features in Action

The most impressive part was the AR-RPM9 steel blade. It kept its edge really well, even after some tougher tasks like slicing through tougher materials. The Wharncliffe blade shape made it easy to control the cut, which was great for detailed work. The button lock gave me confidence that the blade wouldn’t accidentally close while I was using it. Plus, the pocket clip made carrying the knife simple and secure, so I never worried about losing it during hikes or camping trips.

Long-Term Performance

After using the CJRB Pyrite-Light for several weeks, I’m happy to say it’s held up very well. The blade still feels sharp and strong, and the handle shows no signs of wear. The folding mechanism remains smooth and reliable, and the knife stays firmly locked when open. It’s become my go-to EDC knife because it combines durability, sharpness, and portability in a compact design. I can definitely trust it for everyday tasks and outdoor adventures alike.
